Kerry Says Good-bye to Western Mass

Senator John Kerry has said his good-byes to the people of Western Mass.  Speaking to a capacity crowd in Springfield Thursday, Kerry said he's ready to become Secretary of State.  But he called it a bittersweet moment, and spoke fondly of his old friend Congressman Richie Neal.  Kerry said successful diplomacy depends upon domestic strength.  He'll be sworn in Friday in a small private ceremony at the State Department.
