Soundgarden land exclusive footwear deal with converse

Soundgarden have become the latest rockers to land an exclusive footwear deal with Converse.

Hot on the heels of deals with Metallica and Green Day, the grunge icons have scored their own limited edition Chuck Taylor All Star brand.

The new shoes will hit stores to coincide with the band's new album "King Animal," which was released on Tuesday.

Converse's limited edition Soundgarden Chuck Taylor All Star sneaker features album artwork from King Animal on a monochromatic black sneaker. The new Soundgarden logo is also highlighted in white on the heel.

The Soundgarden Chuck Taylor All Star sneaker is limited to only 60 pairs.
