The City of Northampton DPW has declared a snow emergency. It remains in effect until canceled and may last more than one night. Please call 413-586-6969 for updated information.
The city will be towing tonight for vehicles parked on city streets.
Parking prohibited on all city streets and city parking lots from midnight to 6:00 am, except on Main St where parking is prohibited between 2:00 am and 7:00 am. The Armory St parking lot is open for use during snow emergencies except from 8:00 am to 10:00 am and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm to allow for plowing.

The Northampton Locust Street Transfer Station will be closed Monday, January 26th.
Parking ban in effect until further notice. No parking on the EVEN side of the street from 7:00 P.M. to 7:00 A.M. No parking on the ODD side of the street from 9:00 P.M. to 4:00 A.M.
No On-Street Parking From 4pm today until further notice
The Town Hall will also be closed on Tuesday, January 27th.
Parking ban in effect from 6:00 P.M. Monday, January 26 through 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 28. Park on the EVEN side of the street on even-numbered days. Park on the ODD side of the street on odd-numbered days. No parking at all on Bridge Street, Lamb Street, Bardwell Street, Main Street, Route 116, and lower North Main Street.
