Abused Poodle Happy In New Home

(Springfield, MA) — The tiny abused poodle formerly known as “Buffy” is adjusting well to her new home. The starving and fearful dog was found last month at a Springfield construction site, close to death and wrapped in a plastic bag. She was nursed back to health by the Dakin Animal Shelter and carefully placed for adoption with a Western Mass couple. MIchelle and Mark Fournier are calling the dog “Belle” and say she’s “just a bundle of love.”
