Bartley And Humason Win Senate Primaries

(Holyoke, MA) — Holyoke City Councilor David Bartley has defeated Easthampton Mayor Michael Tautznik in the Democratic primary for Mike Knapik’s former state senate seat. Bartley walked away with 52-percent of the vote amidst very low turnout. On the Republican side, State Rep Don Humason easily prevailed over Michael Franco. Humason and Bartley will now begin campaigning in earnest for the 2nd Hampden and Hampshire State Senate seat.
