Coakley Praises DOMA Ruling

Attorney General Martha Coakley is praising Wednesday’s Supreme Court ruling that overturned the Defense of Marriage Act. ¬†Coakley says families will no longer be denied Social Security and medical benefits simply because of who they love. ¬†She says she’s proud of Massachusetts’ leadership on same-sex marriage, and the decision is a step on the march toward equality for all.
