Deerfield Cracks Down On Pig Farmers

(Deerfield, MA)  –  Selectmen in the town of Deerfield are cracking down on pig farmers. From now on, every piggery will get an annual inspection and a new set of rules to follow.  The policy is the result of ongoing conflict between Stillwater Road pig farmer Stanley Romanowski and his neighbors at a condominium complex.  Problems have centered around cleanup, fencing, storage of food, and loose pigs.
