(Northampton, MA) — A man who stole a diamond ring from Hannoush Jewelers at the Hampshire Mall has pleaded guilty to larceny. 26-year-old Jesse Bluto of Ludlow was sentenced Tuesday to two years in jail. On October 24th, Bluto asked a sales associate to show him the 30-thousand-dollar ring, then ran off with it. The act was caught on surveillance video. Bluto was arrested two weeks later. The ring has not been recovered.
