Easthampton Democrat Elected Party Treasurer

(Easthampton, MA)  —  Easthampton lawyer Nicole LaChapelle has been elected treasurer of the Democratic State Committee.  LaChapelle had originally considered a run for the party chairmanship but changed her mind, clearing the way for State Senator Thomas McGee of Lynn.  Outgoing chairman Jack Walsh is stepping down to head up Deval Patrick’s political action committee.
