(Northampton, MA) — A former Northampton car dealer has been ordered to pay 95-thousand in fines and restitution. Andrew Feuerstein was owner of Northampton Motor Classics on Bridge Road. He and manager Michael Dale sold cars without titles, failed to register them, didn’t pay off loans on trade-ins, neglected to buy service contracts after collecting money, and illegally told people to use dealer plates. The judgment was filed Tuesday with the state attorney general’s office.
The plan, which also mandates a shift to renewable energy from coal-fired electricity, is meant to put the U.S. in a strong position at international talks in Paris later this year on reaching a deal to curb global warming.
