(Northampton, MA) — A homeless woman has pleaded not guilty to assaulting a stranger at Northampton’s Walter Salvo House. 21-year-old Taleana Haugabook allegedly entered the 67-year-old man’s apartment Wednesday evening and pinned him to the ground. She allegedly demanded to know where her phone was and punched him in the face. The man said he’d never seen the woman before. Haugabook was released on her own recognizance and is due back in court November 12th.
