Man Wanted for Murder Hops Train to Deerfield

A New York man wanted for murder is headed for arraignment Monday after being arrested by Deerfield Police over the weekend. Officers responded to a report of a trespasser at the Deerfield Railroad Yard at around 5:35 Friday. Arrested was Anthony Repp, who informed officers that there may be a warrant for his arrest on murder charges from the state of New York. Police say Repp hopped a freight train to Deerfield.  He’s being held without bail pending arraignment on charges he bludgeoned his stepfather to death and severely beat his mother, who’s critical.
