Manhan Bridge Work Continues Without Union

(Easthampton, MA) — Work has resumed on the Manhan River Bridge in Easthampton despite a strike by heavy equipment operators. Northern Construction Services says it’s continuing the work on the Route 10 bridge without the workers but he’s not sure how long he’ll be able to continue. The strike involving the Union of Operating Engineers Local 98 is slowing down road and building projects across the state.
