Middlefield Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash

A Middlefield man is dead after crashing his motorcycle in Cummington Monday afternoon.  55 year old Brian Miller is the Middlefield representative on the Gateway Regional School Committee.  Police say Miller lost control of his Harley headed east on Route 9, hit a guardrail and flew down a steep embankment near the Westfield River.  A memorial service for Miller will be held Saturday at the Middlefield Fairgrounds.
