Narkewicz Running Unopposed For Re-Election

Northampton Mayor David Narkewicz will run unopposed for his second term in November.  Narkewicz was the only candidate to turn in nomination papers for mayor by Monday’s deadline.  But there will likely be some fireworks over city council positions.  Former building commissioner Anthony Patillo is challenging incumbents Bill Dwight and Jesse Adams in a three-way race for two at-large seats.  Patillo says he’ll represent residents who voices aren’t being heard.
