Needle Exchange; Casinos On Holyoke Ballot

(Holyoke, MA) — Holyoke voters will have two non-binding questions on tomorrow’s ballot. Question 1 asks if the city should have a casino. Gaming opponents say there is a potential threat from casino developers, even though there’s no proposal before the city. Question 2 asks if Holyoke should have a needle exchange program. Holyoke already has a needle exchange for drug addicts, but its establishment was controversial.
