(Northampton, MA) — A debate between two at-large city council candidates in Northampton is on for tonight. Incumbents Bill Dwight and Jesse Adams will square off at the Bridge Street School starting at seven. Candidate Tony Patillo has been invited, but might not show up on account of recent hip surgery. The three are vying for two at-large seats on the city council. Tonight’s event also features five Trustee candidates for the Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School.

Deerfield Police pulled over the woman in the Mercedes after receiving a report that someone was illegally harvesting apples from trees at Clarkdale Fruit Farm.
It happened around one Thursday morning between Florence Road and Highland Avenue. The road did not reopen until around two that afternoon. It was the second time in 24 hours that the road was forced to close.
