Northampton Mayoral Aide Lands New Job

(Northampton, MA) — A well-respected staffer at Northampton City Hall is on her way to a better job. Mayoral aide Lyn Simmons has been named Town Administrator for Southampton. The 31-year-old woman is finishing up her Master’s in Public Administration at Westfield State. Interviewers said her on-the-ground municipal experience put her ahead of the other candidates.
