Parking Bans In Flux As Region Prepares For More Snow

Northampton’s parking ban has been lifted as of 8:40 a.m. on Monday. City officials ask residents to stay alert for a potential selective street parking ban for snow removal that may be required to maintain street width.  Residents can call the snow hotline at 586-6969 with any questions.

South Hadley’s parking ban remains in effect until 6 p.m. on Monday, and Holyoke’s reverse parking ban is in effect until 7 p.m. Monday.

Forecasters suggest keeping your shovel ready.  They’re expecting the region to get a snowfall Tuesday afternoon of 2 to 4 inches.
