Police Appeal Quabbin Trespassers Decision

State Police are appealing a decision not to file criminal complaints against seven people found trespassing at the Quabbin Reservoir last month.  The recent college grads from Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Singapore were found at the reservoir after midnight May 14th. They told a trooper they were there for study purposes.  At Belchertown District Court they were issued a continuance without a finding.  A State Police spokesman says the clerk’s decision was out of line with protecting the state’s largest drinking water supply.
