Relief Effort Underway For Fire Victims

(Hadley, MA) — Efforts are underway to help the victims of Sunday’s strip mall fire in Hadley. The Route Nine blaze destroyed three restaurants, two international food markets, a computer business, a tattoo parlor, a kung fu studio and a pastry shop. The “Hadley Business Fire Relief Fund” can be accessed through the website of the Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce. The Facebook Page “Help the Rt 9 Hadley Fire Victims” is also coordinating its efforts with the Chamber. The investigation into the cause of the fire is focused on the laundromat at the rear of the plaza.
