School for Troubled Teens Closing

The Academy at Swift River is closing down.  The private school in Cummington offers a therapeutic setting for troubled teenagers.  Director Bar Clarke tells the “Gazette” fewer and fewer families can afford their services.  50 Hilltown jobs will be lost as a result of the closure.
