State MCAS Data Released

(Springfield, MA) — Statewide average MCAS scores have been released. The good news is three low-performing schools in Springfield have made progress and are off the watch list. Seven other city schools remain stuck at level 4, with some of the lowest scores in the state. The Morgan Elementary School in Holyoke slipped from level 4 to level 5 and will go into receivership. More detailed MCAS data will be released Friday.
