Sunderland School Principal Dies

(Sunderland, MA) — Sunderland is mourning the unexpected death of its elementary school principal. 51-year-old Timothy Merrit of Amherst died of natural causes at his home Saturday. He’s being remembered as a kind man who loved to play the guitar and made every student feel welcome. Merrit was married and the father of twins.
