The Pot Shop is (Almost) Open

Local officials will have a chance next week to learn more about the new state medical marijuana regulations. The Franklin Regional Council of Governments will hold a forum next Wednesday to brief local leaders on the new state regs, which go into effect today. A number of area towns are considering temporary moratoriums on the siting of medical pot dispencaries until those towns can develop zoning laws regarding those facilities.
