(Holyoke, MA) — Two men are waging write-in campaigns for seats on the Holyoke City Council. Insurance executive Kerry O’Sullivan hopes to unseat Ward 3 Councilor David Bartley. Bartley is running for state senate, and says he’ll resign from the council if elected. O’Sullivan says Holyokers shouldn’t have to deal with another special election. Web developer Jim Chevalier is challenging Ward 6 councilor Todd McGee. McGee made headlines recently when his off-color conversation with another councilor was inadvertently broadcast live on public access TV.
