Two Northampton Cumbies Robbed

(Northampton, MA) — Northampton police are on high alert after two Cumberland Farms were robbed over the course of two days. Wednesday around 1 a.m. two masked men made off with cash from the Cumby’s on King Street. Twenty-four hours later, two masked men armed with a baseball bat and a sword robbed the store in Florence. A 17-year-old male is in custody but another man is still on the loose. Police are investigating whether a Tuesday night stickup at a Greenfield convenience store is related.
