Two NPD Employees Placed On Leave

(Northampton, MA) — Two Northampton Police Department employees have been placed on administrative leave in the midst of an investigation. Captain Scott Savino and administrative assistant Maryann Keating were placed on paid leave last Friday. The news comes as Hampden DA Mark Mastroianni launches an investigation of the department. Mayor David Narkewicz says the probe has to do with possible improprieties in the payroll records of a civilian employee.
