WHMP Dakin Pet of the Week

Hilly Billy is an 8 year old domestic short hair neutered male cat available for adoption at the Dakin Pioneer Valley Humane Society in Springfield.  Here’s his story:

Howdy!  My name, which I recently acquired, is Hilly Billy.  I was found as a stray.  A kind woman noticed me hanging around for a couple of weeks and brought me to Dakin.  She got to know me pretty well saying that I love all people.  True.  I’m a lap cat.  True.  I’m talkative.  True again.  My best quality:  I am loveable.  Awww, shucks. 

My Good Samaritan said I was frightened of cars.  What she didn’t say is that I likely had a few close calls while outside.  I’m indoors now and hope to stay that way in my new home.  And you can take me home tomorrow (Thursday) through Sunday for just $5!  That’s right.  It’s baaaaack.

The $5  Feline adoption event at Dakin.  Why?  Dakin is once again…for the third time this season…loaded with wonderful adult cats (six months and older), like me, who want nothing more than a well-deserved second chance at life.  All $5 Felines go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, tested, with a collar and id tag, and a starter kit of food.  The whole kitten caboodle!

See you in Springfield.  I’m in one of the colony rooms because I make friends with everyone.  If you sit down, I’m in your lap.  You’ll know me.
