Woman Sentenced For Defrauding MassHealth

(Springfield, MA)  –  A Holyoke woman has been sentenced in federal court for defrauding MassHealth.  Twenty-five-year-old Miosottis Gonzalez submitted bills for personal care attendant services that were never provided. Gonzalez recruited her friends to provide documentation, and submitted false time sheets.   She’ll spend two years on probation and pay 64-thousand in restitution.
