(Springfield, MA) — A Holyoke woman has been sentenced in federal court for defrauding MassHealth. Twenty-five-year-old Miosottis Gonzalez submitted bills for personal care attendant services that were never provided. Gonzalez recruited her friends to provide documentation, and submitted false time sheets. She’ll spend two years on probation and pay 64-thousand in restitution.
Jose Rubet of Springfield was arrested August 22 after allegedly leading officers on a high-speed chase into Agawam. He was arrested and taken to lockup, where he later produced a knife which he waved at officers before escaping through an emergency exit.
