WHMP Dakin Heavy Petting Pet of the Week

Ellie (kitten), Domestic shorthair/mix, 2 months old, Female, Grey/tan coat

Ellie is a complete charmer!  This darling kitten is just 2 months old and is ready to go to a new and loving home.  She’s the right mix of cuddly and playful and can’t wait to curl up and snooze near a sunny windowsill…after she’s had a busy day being active and awesome, of course.  Look into those eyes…how you can you resist her?  Ellie’s available at Dakin’s Springfield location.  Hours are noon to 5:30pm today (Wednesday), noon to 7:30pm on Thursdays and noon to 5:30pm on Friday.  Hurry though…a cutie like this will not last long!

 Mutts & Mimosas – On Sunday, August 24, Dakin will present its second annual “Mutts & Mimosas” event at Quonquont Farms in Whately, MA.  Brunch will be served from 11am – 2pm, and yes, dogs are invited!  The Flying High Frisbee Dogs will provide entertainment, there will be live music and a great brunch served up by Seth Mias Catering.  You can get more information at www.dpvhs.org.
