TV personality Samantha Harris will undergo a double mastectomy later this month.

The former “Dancing with the Stars” co-host found a lump in her breast last year but a mammogram scan came back all clear. It was not until she saw a breast cancer specialist months later that she was diagnosed with the disease.

Harris admits she felt “calmer” once she made the decision to have her breasts removed, telling People.com, “I was sick of feeling the way that I did in the days after the diagnosis. I knew I needed to take control.”
