Amherst Police Nab Violent Suspect

(Amherst, MA)  —  A Montague man wanted for attempted murder has been arrested in Amherst.  33-year-old Domenic O’Connor was apprehended Saturday evening after a short foot chase.  He had been staying at a friend’s house on Route 63.  O’Connor allegedly brutally beat his girlfriend at his home in Lake Pleasant early Thursday.  A man who allegedly helped O’Connor evade police will face obstruction of justice charges.
