(Northampton, MA) — Cooley Dickinson Hospital in Northampton is under investigation after an infant died at its childbirth center. The hospital sent a memo to medical staff Thursday admitting the death may have been due to “fragmented communication.” The state Department of Public Health has been on the scene conducting a multi-day review. The hospital has not said when the stillbirth occurred.
