(Amherst, MA)  —  Blarney Blowout 2014 will be getting a full review by former Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis.  UMass Amherst made the announcement Thursday.  The destructive, alcohol-soaked St. Patrick’s bash last weekend resulted in 55 arrests.  Some students claimed police overstepped their bounds.  UMass Chancellor Kumble Subbaswamy says the University needs guidance on how to deal with large, out-of-control crowds.
