Fire chief steps down after dispute

(Rowe)– A dispute with the Board of Selectmen has triggered the resignation of Rowe’s long-time fire chief. Paul McLatchy Junior stepped down from the post in response to what he says is the board’s “lack of faith” in his operation of the department. The board has not officially accepted McLatchy’s resignation.
