(Springfield, MA) – The National Weather Service has confirmed the sighting of a funnel cloud in Springfield Sunday afternoon. The funnel cloud was seen in the I-291 area near Berkshire Avenue, and also in the Fuller Street area of Ludlow. If a funnel cloud hits the ground, it’s considered a tornado.
