Greenfield Citizen Leads Police to Drug Bust

(Greenfield, MA) – Help from an alert citizen has led to another drug-related arrest in downtown Greenfield. Police say a citizen snapped a photo of what appeared to be a drug transaction on School Street. An officer recognized the suspect in the photo and found him to be holding six baggies of a substance believed to be heroin. Arrested was 46-year-old Dwight Belisle of Quincy Street. He has been charged with possession of heroin with intent to distribute.
