Speaking at the Holyoke Health Center Friday, Markey called for more treatment centers, greater access to the anti-overdose drug Narcan, and expedited FDA approval of medications to treat addiction. Markey’s speech came after a roundtable discussion involving health care providers, law enforcement and elected officials.
