Montague Police Investigate Possible Abduction Attempt

(Montague, MA) – Montague Police are urging local children to walk to school in groups after a man allegedly tried to confront a child walking home from Sheffield Elementary School. Police say the man stopped the youth as he cut through an alley between Third and Fourth streets. The child managed to get away, but police are searching for the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call Montague Police at 863-8911.
