Morse Will Return City Car

(Holyoke, MA)  —  Holyoke Mayor Alex Morse says he’ll suspend the use of the city car given to him, and buy or rent his own vehicle.  Morse’s cousin was arrested early Saturday for driving the Ford Taurus while drunk.  Nicholas Duclos and Morse had been at Bishops Lounge in downtown Northampton, and the two tell conflicting stories about whether Duclos had permission to take the keys.  Questions remain about whether the mayor is entitled to use the city car for late-night socializing.  Duclos pleaded not guilty to multiple motor vehicle charges Monday.
