(Northampton, MA) – Two more Northampton Police officers have been promoted. Jody Kasper has been promoted to captain. And Alan Borowski has moved up to detective lieutenant. The announcements come a few weeks after the retirement of 36 year veteran Captain Joseph Koncas. City Council President Bill Dwight applauds the promotions, and says Koncas will be missed. After Koncas retired, Dorothy Clayton was sworn in as the first female Captain in the Northampton police department.
