PDA Founder Tim Carpenter Passes Away

(Northampton, MA)  —  A well-known Democratic Party activist in Northampton has passed away after a battle with cancer.  55-year-old Tim Carpenter was founder of the Progressive Democrats of America and worked as the organization’s co-director.  Carpenter devoted his life to working for peace, health care, nuclear disarmament, campaign finance reform and more.  Carpenter died just days before his organization’s 10th birthday celebration.
