(Easthampton, MA)  —  Work on the Pleasant Street Mill Project in Easthampton is slated to begin next week.  That means a section of the Manhan Rail Trail will be temporarily closed.   The owners of Mill 180 and Eastworks are connecting their buildings and flipping the entrance to face the rail trail.  Water pipes and electrical service are being upgraded.  The ambitious project is being helped by a MassWorks infrastructure grant.   Phase One will finish up at the end of June.
