(Gill, MA) – The search continues today for the body of a man who is believed to have jumped to his death from the French King Bridge in Gill Monday. Witnesses say the man jumped at around noon. His abandoned car was found near the bridge, and police believe they know his identity, but a body has not been discovered as yet. The Northwestern DA’s office says State Police and Northfield Dive Team divers are expected to search the Connecticut River today if flow rates allow. Any boaters along the Connecticut River south of the bridge are encouraged to report any suspicious observations to the Massachusetts State Police, or simply call 911.
