(Northampton, MA)  –  A lawsuit filed this week pits Thornes Marketplace co-owner Rich Madowitz against his investment partner.  Madowitz is suing the father of the late Doug Kohl, who was the other owner of the downtown Northampton shop complex until his 2010 death. Madowitz claims the elder Kohl owes him money related to their co-interest in Cedar Chest, Thorne’s primary anchor store.
