Warren Says Gov’t Earns Too Much Off Student Loans

(Undated) - Senator Elizabeth Warren says the federal government is earning too much off student loans. She says she is shocked by a new report showing the government earned $66 billion from student loans originated between 2007 and 2012. Warren and other like-minded senators say the government should profit less and address the $1.2 billion in outstanding student loan debt they say is hurting families and the economy.
