(Easthampton, MA) – A Westhampton man is being arraigned this morning on second-offense OUI. Saturday 37-year-old Joshua Clifford was pulled over by Easthampton police for driving on the wrong side of South Street. He allegedly fled at high speed, blew through two stop signs, hit a pole, and smashed into another car on Loudville Road. The 37-year-old man was arrested around 6 p.m. on North Road in Westhampton, not far from his home on Kings Highway.
The Northwestern District Attorney's office says the body was found near the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Bridge, connecting South Hadley and neighboring Holyoke.
The injured were taken to Baystate Medical Center for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
