Worthington Leaves Regional School District

(Worthington, MA)  –  The town of Worthington is leaving the Gateway Regional School District.  At a special town meeting Monday, voters gave the plan overwhelming support.  The tiny town will establish a new school district and run its own elementary school. High school students will attend Hampshire Regional or stay at Gateway under the school choice program. The change will increase property taxes by 27 percent.
