Kid Rock broke attendance records at the DTE Energy Music Theatre in his native Detroit recently and the man who previously held the mark was there to celebrate with him.

Kid Rock’s eight nights at the venue were all sell-outs and thanks to increased attendance there over the years, he eclipsed pal Bob Seger’s 1977 record run.

But the veteran rocker wasn’t feeling sore – he joined Rock for an encore on the last night of his stint on Tuesday.

The two Detroit natives, who have often teamed up onstage over the years, performed Seger’s Old Time Rock & Roll and Rock’s All Summer Long.
